Details
The Halvorsen name is an Australian byword for quality and style. The Halvorsen family firm is one of the most important Sydney and Australian boat design and building yards for over 100 years. To this day Halvorsens are built to order using various high end yards. Over the decades, they have designed and had built over 1,200 motor boats and yachts, including Gretal, Australias 2nd America's Cup racing yacht and Freya, the winner of 3 consecutive Sydney Hobart Races. To own and sail a Halvorsen is to enjoy and use a significant part of Australian maritime history.
